Privacy

What this site does with your information, in plain words. Last updated October 24, 2026.

The short version

  • I don't sell your information, and I don't share it for advertising.
  • I only have what you type into a form here (the email list, a vote or a message), basic visit analytics, and the order details Etsy gives every seller.
  • Email logicframeco@gmail.com and I'll show you or delete what I have about you.

Who runs this site

Logic Frame Co. is a one-person business run by me, Chase Bonfiglio, in Virginia. For anything on this page, email logicframeco@gmail.com.

Email lists

If you sign up (the wire bender list, or the Logic Frame list), your email, your first name if you give it, which form you used and what you signed up for (for example the wire bender or the Display Edition) are stored with this site's host (Netlify), and the emails are sent through an email delivery service (Resend). As proof that you asked to join, I also keep the time you signed up and confirmed, the wording of the form, your browser type and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. Links in list emails go through logicframeco.com, so I can see which links you click. None of this is sold or shared for advertising. Event logs are deleted after 180 days, and signups that are never confirmed are deleted 30 days after the confirmation email goes out. Netlify and Resend only process this on my behalf. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To be removed or have your data deleted, email logicframeco@gmail.com.

You only end up on a list after you click the link in the confirmation email, and every list email has my mailing address and an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Votes and messages (the request page)

On the request page you can vote for things you want me to make and leave me a message. A vote is anonymous: I store a count for each idea plus a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address so the same connection can't vote twice, and your browser remembers which ones you picked. If you leave a message, I store what you wrote, your name and email if you give them (the email is only used to reply to you), which idea it was about, the time, your browser type and a hashed version of your IP address. The hashed IP is only used to stop spam (a few messages per hour per connection). I keep votes and messages until you ask me to delete them (email logicframeco@gmail.com, see deleting your data). The spam counters are deleted after 2 days.

Orders

Orders and payments go through Etsy, so this site never sees your card number. Your shipping details are only used to send your order, and this site doesn't collect your email. I also pull my own shop's orders from Etsy (read-only, through Etsy's API) into a private file on my computer to keep track of what to build and ship and for my taxes. That file has order numbers, dates, items and amounts, not names or addresses.

Pinterest data (analytics dashboard)

I run a small private dashboard for the Logic Frame Co. Pinterest account (@logicframeco). It connects to the Pinterest API using an app called "LFC Dashboard", and only to my own account, after I log in and approve access myself. It reads my own account analytics (impressions, saves, outbound clicks and top pins) plus basic details of my own pins and boards, so I can see which pins work. It is read-only: it never posts, edits, deletes or follows anything, and it doesn't access anyone else's Pinterest account or any personal information about people who view my pins.

The numbers are saved as dated snapshots in a private file on my own computer, so I can compare one week with the next. They are not put on this website, shared with anyone, sold, or used for advertising or to train AI models. The API access token is stored only on that computer. I keep the snapshots while the dashboard is in use and delete them, along with the token, if I stop using it or if you ask. To ask for deletion, or with any question, email logicframeco@gmail.com. You can also revoke the app's access yourself in your Pinterest settings, under the apps you've given access to, and I'll delete what I hold.

Instagram and YouTube

I connect my own Instagram account (@logic_frame_co) through Instagram's API, logged in as myself. It reads my own account stats (reach, views, followers, link taps) and the comments people leave on my posts (the comment, the commenter's username and the time) so I don't miss a question, and I use it to publish my own posts. It never replies, likes, hides or deletes comments and never sends messages. Comments are saved in a private file on my computer, and I keep them until you ask me to delete them. I also upload my own videos to YouTube and read my channel's view counts through the YouTube API Services, which means the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy also apply there, and that connection can be revoked at Google's security settings. None of this is shared, sold, or used for ads.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to count visits and see how the pages get used, which can include recordings of how a page is scrolled and clicked (the forms on this site are marked so Clarity doesn't record what you type). I use them to see which pages work, not for ads. This site doesn't respond to the older Do Not Track setting, but it does honor Global Privacy Control. They don't load at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, if your browser is set to most European time zones, or if you turn them off with the switch below. The font is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for it. You don't need any cookies to read the site, join a list or vote.

Who handles it for me

Netlify hosts the site and stores the email list, votes and messages. Resend sends the emails. Once a week a backup copy of the list is emailed to my own inbox (logicframeco@gmail.com) so it can't be lost. Etsy handles orders and payments. Google provides Analytics and the font, and Microsoft provides Clarity. They only process it for those jobs, and they're US companies, so the data is handled in the United States.

How long I keep things

  • Email list: while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your record stays marked as unsubscribed so nothing else gets sent to you. If you ask me to delete your data, I delete the list record, its email history and any messages you left, remove you from the backup copies I keep, and keep only a scrambled marker that blocks further emails. Order records stay for taxes.
  • Signups that are never confirmed: 30 days. Email event logs: 180 days.
  • Messages and votes from the request page: until you ask me to delete them. Spam counters: 2 days.
  • Instagram comments: until you ask me to delete them. Etsy order records: as long as I need them for taxes.

Deleting your data

Email logicframeco@gmail.com with "delete my data" and the email address or Instagram or Pinterest username it's about, and I'll delete what I hold (list record, messages, saved comments) and confirm by email. To unsubscribe only, use the link at the bottom of any list email. You can also remove a connected app yourself in your Instagram or Pinterest settings, under apps and websites, and I'll delete what came through it.

Your choices and rights

Anyone can ask me what I have about them, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing logicframeco@gmail.com. I'll answer within 30 days (usually much sooner), and I may ask you to reply from the same email first so I know it's you. Unsubscribing is one click at the bottom of any list email.

California and other US states: I don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, and I still honor Global Privacy Control. Asking about your data won't change how I treat you.

EU and UK visitors: I only ship to the US, but if you visit from the EU or UK, the legal basis for the email list is your consent (you can take it back anytime with the unsubscribe link), for votes and messages it's my legitimate interest in answering you and stopping spam, and for orders it's carrying out the order. You can also ask for a copy of your data, ask me to stop or limit using it, and complain to your local data protection authority. The services above keep data in the United States, and some of them (Google, Microsoft) rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for that.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect anything from them. If you think a child signed up or left a message, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes

If I change this page in a way that matters, I'll update the date at the top.

Shipping, damage and returns are on the shipping and returns page, and the rules for buying are in the terms.
